Tea Queens Brand
As Lead Designer at Tea Queens, branding fell under my purview. Tea Queens’ brand was in its infancy when I joined the company. Evolving and developing the brand was an exciting and rewarding endeavor.

Tea Queens Logo
When I joined Tea Queens the company’s logo was a stock illustration of a crown over the words “Tea Queens Loose Leaf Tea.” My first project was to create a unique crown to replace this mark.

Logo Sketches
To add a unique flair and combine “tea” with “queens,” we decided to create the crown using the flowers of the Camellia sinensis tea plant. I sketched a variety of ways to represent the flower on the crown ultimately deciding on head-on view of the flowers. At the request of the CEO, smaller more intricate details like the flower’s stamens were added to the logo.

Crown Q
We created the “Crown Q” icon for space restrictive application of our brand including profile pictures, smaller promotional products, and on the lid of every tin of tea we sell.

Stationery
I served as art director on the creation of Tea Queens’ stationery. Bringing in elements from the newly rebranded packaging, we crafted company letterhead and business cards. Three business card variants allow Consultants working with the company a way to customize their image while remaining cohesive with Tea Queens’ brand.
